Ms. Pitts serves as General Counsel for JLC Infrastructure and Managing Director and General Counsel for Loop Capital and all of its affiliates. Ms. Pitts is responsible for all legal aspects of the firm’s various business lines, asset management, consulting, equity trading & research, and investment banking business units. Ms. Pitts joined Loop after almost twenty years in private practice, first as an equity litigation partner and trial lawyer, then as an equity corporate partner in three Chicago law firms, Winston & Strawn, Sidley Austin and Baker & McKenzie. Ms. Pitts is an honors Juris Doctor graduate of Boston University School of Law and earned her B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Pitts is bar licensed in state of Illinois and has been admitted to practice in several federal district and appellate courts, including the Northern District of Illinois, the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
